Sitting in a lunchroom full of people can fill someone with dread all by itself. Sitting alone at a lunch table makes it about 100 times worse. Who knows whose eyes are going to be staring at you as you eat your lunch all alone? There's always an upside, though, especially when the school lunch isn't terrible. Today was Stromboli day. Not one of the the best foods served here, no, but it was decent. I can respect that. A feeling of dread sat inside of me.
